Hi Ella, thanks for the friending! To go on a waiting list for PB Too it's best to join the Ning e-crit group (find it on the Ning home page in Groups) and let Nicky Schmidt know you'd like to be on the list. PB Too is closed for now (full up), but when a number of people have joined a waiting list, Nicky (hopefully) will be able to set up a new PB group! I'll make a note too in case we get a vacancy in the meantime.
Hi there, just been reading your Memory a Day blog! Really excellent. There are a lot of parallels in my life, although you were very lucky to have arty parents! I am doing an MA at the mo and busy working towards the Macmillan prize, I also work in Norwich at city college. Hope to meet up soon, with Fiona. Julia x
ah that's better, home from work so I can reply properly and take a good look at your work too, how lovely, loving the felines! and the quirky houses.
I envy you working at NUCA (have applied a couple of times but no teaching qualification, hope to change that in the next year or so). I had a great visit in the summer as my daughter wants to go next year, very impressed at the quality of work, but then it always was good. I studied at Great Yarmouth which then became the Institute half way through my course, so spent a bit of time in Norwich too. Loved it!
I had an old yellow beetle until a few years ago, now have an 8 year old new style flip top! Dont get time to do the car shows, though my son tries hard to persuade me to buy him an old one to do up!
Would love to do the group thing, but maybe meet up sometime anyway?
Hope to go to the London Book Fair on the Monday and drum up some interest.
How could I turn you down when I see that scrummy pink beetle! I have a yellow one! must get together and do the illustrators group. Would be good to share opinions and suggestions. I know Norwich pretty well, I grew up there!
