Thankyou! I loved the workshop, it's so exciting and challenging to be learning new things and looking at old things in new ways! Hope to see you at another event soon x
Rebecca, Thanks for the information. I will ask Maureen about the Middlesborough face to face group when she's a little better - it's an hour away from me but closer that York. I have been contacted by a few people today and, after writing for five years without such contact, it's lovely! Hope to see you soon, MC
Hi Rebecca, Yes, I remembered that you had family visiting and assumed you were off to enjoy them. I would love to get together sometime before the next SCBWI event, perhaps have coffee and do our own informal 'critique' session. I discovered that Morag is from Knaresborough and interested in a get together sometime. Thanks so much for the warm welcome, I did enjoy learning all about our personality styles and have come away with inspiration and motivation!
Well done on your 'Dirty Bear' Editor's Choice Rebecca and also for being Choice of the day on Sunday 9th Oct. Loved both stories. Worried about you and 'dirt' though!!!!
Was the draft of Monsterella that won the scoobie prize the same draft as you brought to York? If it wasn't then I'd love to see the changes you made. Would that be OK, would you share the why and the how with the group on Saturday?
So looking forward to it. I may even draw a train!
Congratulations! That's fantastic news. So pleased for you. I've added my comment to the pbCritique about your latest text. You're quite prolific, aren't you!
