British SCBWI

A huge thank you to Candy for keeping me up to date with all of the latest news and for all the effort that goes into this site. I was recently told about The Booksellers Children's Books Annual Conference, which I was luckily able to attend. As a newcomer to the 'trade' it was an extremely useful day and one which is helping me enormously with my current work. This is my first 'open message' so I hope I've got it right. Like so many other newcomers I've got a lot to learn about how all this works!! (the SCBWI has been an absolute inspiration - I've just self published thanks to them and sold 1200 books in three weeks. Waterstones have also been fantastic, so thanks to them too!)
