About Me
I work for Working Partners as a senior commissioning editor. And I volunteer for the SCBWI to run the Undiscovered Voices anthology (happening again soon). And I'm on the CBC board. I'm also a wanna be writer.
What are you working on at the moment?
Booking travel to the States. (I'm too shy to talk about my writing.)
If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
Tricky, as it's only four days into the year. If we were talking about 2008, I'd say The Knife of Never Letting Go.
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
Good things come to those who persevere.

Hi Sara, how is life as a mummy? I hope you're enjoying it. Looking back on when mine were small it all seems a bit of a blur. x

Excellent - thanks for the information. Not sure I can make the 31st (really enjoyed/valued Sarah Davies talk though).

Cheers for now

Hi Sara

I'm new to SCWBI but enjoying finding my feet. Is there any news on the Undiscovered Voices competition yet?

Hope you're getting some writing done inbetween picking out gems from the slush pile.

Cheers for now

Gareth

Hi, Sara! I think we might have met at a Cornerstones workshop in Charney Manor in July 2006. If so, it was great to meet you and I hope your writing is going well.
