Hi Morag - I see you've already been in touch with Vicky.  At present both YA critique groups are full - and I am in the throes of handing over moderation of Ecritique to Chitra Soundar.

For now, Vicky's made the best offer available - to put you on her waiting list.  We will only look at starting new ecritique groups if we have five or more people needing one.
Can I ask that you liaise with Chitra in a month, and she can check with Vicky how many there are waiting for a place in a YA Critique group.

Best

Nicky

Lovely to meet you too, Morag. I look forward to hearing about the progress of your book. I got some good feedback too, issues about the format so lots of work to do and questions to answer as a result. And I'll definitely take your good advice about enjoying being a Mum. See you at the next event, Claire.

Morag, thanks for your reply. Your reasons for writing are very inspiring. I teach in a school where there are a lot of reluntant readers - perhaps you could try your work out on them. Is there a meeting in York next week? Is everyone welcome? Do you have experience of how an crit group works? (P.S. Love A Monster Calls and love Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness too - in my top 3 books) MC

I had just spotted your lack of flower on the NE page, I feel like announcing it on the yahoo group! I've read a Monster Calls too, it is genius. Very powerful.
