About Me
Not a lot to tell really. My favourite genre is fantasy.L love the merging or two world in one way or another: I write with 9-12 year olds in mind.
I've written 2 books, started two more as sequals, then two more unrelated. Am a member of CBC and attend many of their meeting at 80 The Strand. I have written a number of pantomimes which are produced by my local drama group of whom I am currently Vice Chair. Love my family, love my dogs. Not yet published but live in hope. I'm learning to Tweet and very nearly got the hang of it, although my daughter may not agree.
What are you working on at the moment?
My current book is about a girl who after brain surgery can see the dead. She lives in the east end of London and finds herself at unexpected moments transported back to the same area but in Victorian times. Gangs past and present, a poisoner from the past comes into present day. I plan to throw a bit of detective work into the novel where Jody, the protagonist. can bring modern techniques to old cases.
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
Truthfully, I've been reading older not current books.
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
I'm still in the foothills without a sherpa
