- About Me
- 'want to be' Illustrator of childrens books.I have done some greetings cards, seed packs for Mr Fothergills and Thompson and Morgan, some illustrations for educational magazines.
Biography
I trained as a graphic designer at Great Yarmouth Art School and worked in publishing and packaging design. Whist raising my children I built a portfolio of illustrations and have had exhibitions of my work in Suffolk.

Awards
RHS silver gilt medal @ the Chelsea Flower Show in 2007 and Gold @ Shrewsbury Show for exhibit that I designed, illustrated and constructed. this then went on to win a Gold medal at the RHS Shrewbury Show.
- What are you working on at the moment?
- A private piece for a friend who is about to have a baby.
Also Alice in Wonderland.
Just completed 2 charity Christmas cards.
Written a plan for a simple children's book, pics are itching to get out my head and on to paper!
- If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
- Walker Books - Why the Animals Came to Town.
- What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
- That I don't do enough. I have missed being creative in my 'day' job and I long desperately to illustrate more - listen to my heart, fulfill my dreams.
I have redesigned my website and hope for more commissions.
