- About Me
- I live in Southwest London with myhusband, two sons and a very old cat. I studied printed textiles at college before specialising in silk paintings and selling my work through the Greenwich Arts and Craft market in London.
This led into working in the field of illustration; mainly greeting cards and gift wrap, educational and novelty books, children’s magazines, etc.
With the arrival of my two children, I decided to take a break while my family were still young but I have now picked up my pencils and a computer mouse!
I enjoy the possibilities that Photoshop has to offer, and love combining hand drawn material with collage and texture.You can view my work at www.tracey-english.co.uk
- What are you working on at the moment?
- I have been working on a Children's picture book idea and also creating some self promotional pieces.
- If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
- The Pencil by Allan Ahlberg and Bruce Ingman

- You have to keep plugging away!!
