Profile

About Me
I have lived in France, Canada, Australia and England at more addresses than I can count, acquiring three degrees, a selection of passports and a silly name along the way. Past careers have included scientist, lawyer, optometrist, and, in England, various jobs in secondary schools and promoting literacy to children with an audiobook charity.

I recently left my job with Bucks libraries to concentrate on writing and a research MA on the depiction of terrorism in YA literature since 9-11.

My first book, YA thriller Slated was published by Orchard Books in May 2012! And coming soon in the US and Canada with Penguin imprint, Nancy Paulsen Books, January 2013.

Sorry you couldn't make the social. It was such a shame about the weather. It stopped a lot of people getting out. Hope to see you at the next one in February :)
