About Me
Sheila Averbuch is a new author based in East Lothian in Scotland, where she lives with her husband and two young children. She holds an MA in journalism from Stanford University and a BA from Harvard University in American History & Literature. Previously she served as Ireland correspondent for USA Today and was a reporter with the San Jose Business Journal, Silicon Valley's chief business newspaper. She is founder of the content services agency ENNclick.com and edits the gardening blog Stopwatch Gardener.
What are you working on at the moment?
Space Kids and the Pluto Plot
Space Kids and the Spy from Planet 12
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
I loved Whispers in the Graveyard
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
Foreshadowing makes the narrative much more satisfying for the reader.

Oh right! Never mind - don't worry about it, and don't worry about the event! It will be great fun, and I'm sure you'll get lots out of it. You should make sure you come along to the 'meet your region' event on the Sunday morning - there should be lots of lovely Scoobies there to welcome you!
