Everything seems to be going well and keeping you busy.If the revamped story is as good as the ones you showed me it won't belong before we see your name in print! Things have been busy here too. The publisher did get back to me and said that they are going to be working with me soon - HOORAH! So I've been doing some colour sample ideas while I wait (which hasn't been easy as the rest of the family decided to get the plague.)
Speak to you soon
Jamie x
Haven't spoken to you for ages, how things going in the MK? How amazing I believe in the power of chocolate buttons also!
Jamie
Are we taking extracts, then, and if so, how long? multiple copies for all?
I have been working very hard the last few days and my next draft should be ready soon to start sending around: my hubby has needed lifts to the train station at a ridiculous early hour (6 am!!) so I've been up TOO early, but it seems to be working!
See you soon
Teri
I'll try and go to all of them, so hopefully i'll see you at whichever ones you go to. It looks like a great programme again.
Happy new year!
Jeannie
I didn't think I could get there so easily; the last time I went to MK on public transport (the bus!) it was a bit of an ordeal.
See you soon,
Teri
p.s. who else is going to be there?
I will confess, I was thinking: I'd really like to go, but I know that bus to MK takes forever...
And then, I'm such a smart cookie, I realized I can get a train from Tring to MK, instead! It only takes 23 minutes! Result.
Is the train station (MK central) anywhere near where you are meeting? The direct one only goes hourly, and I'd have to get the one that arrives at 10:23. I don't mind going for a bit of a walk to get there if it is possible.
Teri
I'll look into it and get back to you. I'd really like to get some feedback soon on the re-writes I am doing, so it may be worth the bus trip!
Cheers,
Teri
Or, pull out a feather from the wing and then find an ink-bottle?
