- About Me
- I'm an artist and writer, previously an illustrator and graphic designer. Previous work includes poster and packaging for Heals, Habitat and The Body Shop, and published illustration and book design for The Body Shop.
I've designed videogames for the last 20 odd years, and have finally gone freelance from this industry, to enable me to write pretty much full-time.
- What are you working on at the moment?
- A fiction trilogy for children/adults.
- If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
- Shockingly, I haven't read a single new children's book this year! I've been re-reading old ones. (sorry...)
- What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
- If you have a memory like mine, always carry a voice recorder or notebook!
Don't re-write obsessively - just get it down, and leave it alone for some time before printing a draft and editing from the printed copy.
