About Me
I'm a writer, storyteller and perfomer- so that keeps me pretty busy. The rest of the time I spend with my two kids listening to their stories.
What are you working on at the moment?
i'm working on a chapter book series with Working Partners and also working on some picture book texts of my own. I'm also trying to whip into shape a chapter book text of mine that keeps going wrong after chapter 3.
If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
"The Stinky Cheese Man and other Fairly Stupid Tales" . My six and a half year old son loves it and it really made me laugh too. It's presented in a really creative way as well.
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
Know the kids you're writing for and talk to them about what they want.- and listen.

Here comes the second of my daft questions! I've discovered how to sign up but I have now noticed that this masterclass is for people with WIPs set in an alternative world. Does the real world but assuming a pre-Socratic philosopher got the creation myth right count? Thanks

Mo, if you blog about the masterclass, it will appear on the front page. When you upload the event, it will ask you if you want to invite members. Scroll down to the part where it says invite all members.
