- About Me
- My debut YA novel When I WasJoe will be published by Frances Lincoln in January 2010. It was conceived and mostly written at the City University Writing for Children evening classes. Some of the time I'm a journalist. I lived in Amsterdam for eight years, but am now back in north London where I belong. I blog at www.wheniwasjoe.blogspot.com
- What are you working on at the moment?
- The sequel to When I Was Joe - it's called Almost True.
- If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
- Crosing the Line by Gillian Philip - even though it's on a similar theme to my book.
- What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
- Accept rejection and move on.
