- About Me
- My debut YA novel When I Was Joe was published by Frances Lincoln in January 2010, followed by the sequel Almost True in September 2010. When I Was Joe was nominated for the Carnegie Medal and won the North East Teen Book Award, the Angus Book Award, and the Lancashire Book of the Year. My next book, Lia's Guide to Winning the Lottery will be published in August 2011. Some of the time I'm a journalist. I lived in Amsterdam for eight years, but am now back in north London where I belong. I blog at www.wheniwasjoe.blogspot.com
