- What are you working on at the moment?
- A novel about a 13-year-old girl’s fight for freedom in a world where children are treated as potential criminals and teenagers outlawed.
- If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
- It's not out yet, but I'd recommend Genesis by Bernard Beckett, a sci-fi novel for older readers. It has an amazing twist.
