About Me
I live with my eccentric husband, funny little four year old and mad canines.I've always had a passion for picturebooks and since having our daughter I've had an excuse in buying them( not that it stopped me before.) Although I'm new to writing and illustrating picturebooks publicly, I've privately been doing them since an early age( my mum just came across a stack of dummybooks from age four.)
My favourite things are the colour red,Paddington Bear,sausages and yogurt ( not usually together.)
What are you working on at the moment?
A couple of dummy books and doing my portfolio.
If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
The Fox in the Dark by Alison Green & Deborah Allwright
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
Patience and Determination.

Yes there is never enough time to talk at these sort of events is there? What a fantastic conference it was. I'm booked into the January Prof series at The Bullfrog. Will you be going? Perhaps we could catch up then if you are, and send the men packing once again!! Sorry you had to leave because you were poorly. Shades of what happened to me at last year's conference. x

Thanks Jamie, I too forgot my goodbyes with leaving for train. I should be having my 1-2-1 this week with gemma. i've uploaded portfolio and bug belly to ISSUU so she can view it. If you've not tried that yet, it's free and a great way to see and share your PB dummy. Here's

Hi Jamie.

It's been a long time. I have been to a few events lately and hoped that I might see you, but obviously you didn't make them. Are you going to the conference next month? I do hope so, and if you are, where are you staying.

I do hope things are going well for you. Did you ever get that agents meeting?
