About Me
I am mad - therefore I write
And my madness had led to a two book deal with Macmillan!! Yay!!

The first DOUGAL TRUMP book will be out in July 2012. This is boys' humour 9+

I also write epic YA fantasy and THE SWORDMAKER is with my agent looking for a publisher
What are you working on at the moment?
Touch, a YA fantasy set in space. It has a bad ass alien hero with enough attitude to fill the known Universe and a sensible Human girl who really ought to know better than to fall for him.
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
The only book I've read published this year is DARK PARTIES by Sara Grant. I really enjoyed it.
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
It's really lovely when you get a deal.
