- About Me
- I'm an author - fiction and non-fiction KS2,3, 4, and 5. I write for chidlren and young adults. I'm also a publisher and editor and a lecturer in creative writing at Salford University. I love chocolate, cats and red wine. And fresh air and the sea and the mountains.
- What are you working on at the moment?
- A commissioned resource for language teachers called "Creative Language Learning", some ghost stories about the most haunted building in the UK, a story set in World War II but unusually telling a German point of view, and parts two and three of a science fantasy trilogy for 14-17.
- If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
- Tabitha Suzama's "A Voice in the Distance"
- What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
- Seeding plots.
