About Me
I'm an author - fiction and non-fiction KS2,3, 4, and 5. I write for chidlren and young adults. I'm also a publisher and editor and a lecturer in creative writing at Salford University. I love chocolate, cats and red wine. And fresh air and the sea and the mountains.
What are you working on at the moment?
A commissioned resource for language teachers called "Creative Language Learning", some ghost stories about the most haunted building in the UK, a story set in World War II but unusually telling a German point of view, and parts two and three of a science fantasy trilogy for 14-17.
If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
Tabitha Suzama's "A Voice in the Distance"
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
Seeding plots.

Hi Gill
I wanted to check on the Grouply invite also as I signed in but couldn't get into the link which has made me a bit worried that it was spam.
Thanks
Jamie
