- I write picture book texts, fairy tales and I'm working on a series for 9+. I am the founder and editor of New Fairy Tales magazine - www.newfairytales.co.uk
- What are you working on at the moment?
- A picture book text about a chef who's also a magician called The Magic Pie and the first in a historical adventure series.
- If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
- The Princess' Blankets written by Carol Ann Duffy, illustrated by Catherine Hyde - this is a beautiful fairy tale with wonderfully lyrical prose and stunning illustrations.
- What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
- That it's all about rewriting!!!
