- About Me
- I am currently a junior at Wellesley College and I am majoring in Middle Eastern Studies. I will be spending the 2009-10 academic year at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and I look forward to meeting writers in the UK!
I am known for my contagious laughter and have quite a love for tea. I started a tea appreciation society at Wellesley called "In Too Steep" this past year, and l look forward to all the "research" I will be doing in London.

- What are you working on at the moment?
- I am working on a few pieces, including a middle grade series and a short story about continuously expanding dreams.
- If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
- I'm not very familiar with books published this year, but I have always been a lover of Roald Dahl and Shel Silverstein. I look forward to learning more about current publications.
- What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
- That there is a VERY steep learning curve. I am learning something new every day about the structure and length of picture books, the publishing process, and the necessity of reading my work out loud.
