Profile

About Me
I'm a lawyer who lives in London and is trying to write a YA novel in my spare time. I'm currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing (Novels) at City University and I'm a member of the T-Party Writers' Group.
What are you working on at the moment?
I'm working on a YA novel about demons living in London and a teenage girl who discovers their world. Wackiness and murder ensue.
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
The Traitor Game by B. R. Collins
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
That talking about writing is no substitute for sitting down and actually writing.

Talking about writing is fun, though, and if you're usually surrounded by normal people, it's so good to go to a SCBWI do and be able to natter about writing to your heart's content.
