I'm a lawyer who lives in London and is trying to write a YA novel in my spare time. I'm currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing (Novels) at City University and I'm a member of the T-Party Writers' Group.
What are you working on at the moment?
I'm working on a YA novel about demons living in London and a teenage girl who discovers their world. Wackiness and murder ensue.
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
The Traitor Game by B. R. Collins
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
That talking about writing is no substitute for sitting down and actually writing.

Many thanks for hotel advice. I stayed at the Ibis last year and it was convenient. Also stayed at Barkston Gardens a couple of years ago. I did wonder if any members are attending and staying in a hotel. It would be company after day at the LBF. Are you planning to visit?
