I am also SCBWI South East Regional Coordinator.
What are you working on at the moment?
A middle grade novel.
If you were asked to recommend just one children's book published this year, what would it be?
Skulduggery Pleasant - Playing with Fire

Hi Bekki,
I'm still trying to work this thing out, but can't quite suss everything yet. I was going to post on the retreat thread, but seemed to lose it. I'm off now to try again. Hope all went well and you managed to get lots of writing done. I'm sad to have missed it.

Winchester is a little too far away, I suppose. But it sounds like so much fun! (and hard work, I know.) Perhaps I'll look around London more, for individual writing for children classes. Do you know anyone who does that?

Bekki,

Where are you getting a MA in writing for Children? Here in London? Is it a good program?
