About Me
I write teacher resources for primary school, children's illustrated non-fiction and educational fiction.
I also have a regular column in Writers' Forum about authors and the research they do for their books.
What are you working on at the moment?
At the moment, I am working on a commission for AudioGo, BBC audio books, re-writing fairy tales.
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
Diary of a Wimpy Vampire, Prince of Darkness by Tim Collins. It is very funny.
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
Follow your dream. You can't achieve your aims by putting things off.
Here are some of the books I have written:

Many thanks for the friend add! Love your profile comment about not putting things off. This is why I am making myself write the children books I want to write rather than just thinking about it! :)

Hi Anita, many thanks for your e-mail and for choosing me as a friend. I like your comment about what you've learnt about writing this year. Not to put things off. Sadly I am a great procrastinator disguised as a reflector/thinker. I'll think about  doing better.
