- I write teacher resources for primary school, children's illustrated non-fiction and educational fiction.
I also have a regular column in Writers' Forum about authors and the research they do for their books.
- What are you working on at the moment?
- At the moment, I am working on a commission for AudioGo, BBC audio books, re-writing fairy tales.
- If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
- Diary of a Wimpy Vampire, Prince of Darkness by Tim Collins. It is very funny.
- What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
- Follow your dream. You can't achieve your aims by putting things off.
