About Me
I am a new children's author and have written the text for one picture book and am editing a junior chapter book (or at least thats what I think it is!!). I live in Bristol, England and have worked with kids in a variety of situations, including ski instructor and primary school class assistant (oh and a patient cousin to 6 and 9 yr olds) :D
What are you working on at the moment?
I have just published the nearly finished picture book text to my blog and am working through a short chapter book starring a young girl who daydreams a lot, so much so that she will eventually go on to win a local daydreaming competition.
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
I have recently enjoyed the Oliver Jeffers picture books and the Mousehunter by Alex Milway.
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
That it speaks to the core of me.
