About Me
I was nine when I first saw my work in print (a poem in Mickey and Friends magazine!). I went on to win several competitions for young writers, and graduated from the UEA with a degree in English Literature with Creative Writing. I currently work as an Editor at Oxford University Press and was one of the winners of the 2010 Undiscovered Voices competition.
What are you working on at the moment?
A dark (but romantic!) fantasy for teenagers.
If you had to recommend just one children's book you've read in the last year, what would it be?
The Vanishing of Katharina Linden by Helen Grant - I was just blown away by the quality of her writing.
What is the most important thing you learned about writing or illustrating this year?
If you're serious about writing, you don't 'find' time to do it, you 'make' time.
