British SCBWI

Hello Little Group form SE.
I read somewhere that this group meets in a coffeee shop in Canterbury every now and then - but I think perhaps that was a while ago. Perhaps Becky would have time revive the habit occasioanally if anyone is interested :-) Sounds nice to me. Like coffee. Or pubs!

Hi Viv, I also run a crit group of sorts in Tunbridge Wells on the last Saturday of the month. I'm not sure how that works for you but if you want to join let me know. Jeannette

Hi Viv,
Sorry not to reply sooner, but I've been away on holiday.
As well as Jeannette's group in Tunbridge Wells, I run a critique group in Wokingham and the Canterbury coffee morning still runs on a Saturday morning once a month. If you don't live near enough to attend any of these let me know. I have a list of people who are looking to get groups together in the SE, but we currently don't have enough support for one in that area. Full details of these groups are on the SE Networks page of the website. Bekki

Hi Bekki :-)
Thanks for this. Hope you had a great holiday. I am off to Northern India tomorrow! A bit of mad travel!
i do live quite close to Canterbury, but happy to drive wherever - so - hopefully, when i get back, i will be able to meet people at one of the groups somewhere.I am hoping to go to the Agents Party in London in September, but although I sent my cheque ages ago I haven't heard anything about it. Hope it is still taking place :-)

Hi, Viv,
The Canterbury group still meets, upstairs in Costa Coffee, 11 High Street Canterbury, on the first Saturday of every month. Not sure who'll be there this Saturday. Jane Clark can't come (and neither can I), but if you're around, pop in to say hello to Jen, who will be there! or maybe we'll see you in October? You can bring something for us to critique if you like: there's usually about five or six of us.

Linda
